Our Commitment to Quality & Your Satisfaction
At Hata Deli, located at 359 Carlton St., St. Catharines, we take immense pride in the quality and freshness of our products. We are committed to ensuring you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Due to the perishable nature of our goods, we have established the following policy to be fair to both our valued customers and our business.
1. Freshness Guarantee on Prepared Foods & Meals
- If you are unsatisfied with the quality of any of our prepared foods (e.g., salads, sandwiches, hot meals, side dishes), please bring the item and your receipt back to the store on the same day of purchase.
- We will be happy to replace the item with a fresh alternative or provide a full refund.
2. Deli Meats & Cheeses (Sliced-to-Order)
- We guarantee the quality of our deli meats and cheeses at the time of purchase. If you are unhappy with the product for any reason (e.g., taste, texture, or if we made an error with your order), please return the product with its original packaging and your receipt as soon as possible.
- We will gladly exchange the product or issue a store credit for the full amount.
3. General Grocery & Non-Perishable Items
- Unopened, non-perishable items in their original packaging may be returned within 14 days of purchase with a receipt for a full refund or exchange.
4. What We Cannot Accept for Return
For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, we are generally unable to accept returns on the following:
- Opened and Consumed Products: Any product that has been partially or fully consumed.
- Products Past Their “Best Before” Date: It is the customer’s responsibility to consume products in a timely manner.
- Special Orders & Catering: Custom orders for platters or catering are final and non-refundable once the order has been placed and confirmed.
How to Process a Return or Exchange
To serve you best, we require the following for all returns and exchanges:
- Original Receipt: Please provide your original purchase receipt.
- Original Packaging: Return the product in its original packaging where possible.
- In-Store Process: All returns and exchanges must be processed in person at our store location:
